Randy Stratton, founder & officiant
Our Story
From one ceremony, to a team.
Randy Stratton, founder & officiant
In 2015, Randy Stratton's son asked him to officiate his wedding. After decades as a sales and marketing executive and years of speaking on stages, hosting events, and teaching, Randy expected the ceremony to feel familiar. It did not. Standing in front of two people he loved and helping them put their commitment into words turned out to be unlike anything else he had done. That first ceremony became the start of everything.
What began as one officiant in Mississauga has grown into a small, deliberate team. Becky Jones joined in 2025 to serve couples and families across Southwestern Ontario, bringing her background in spiritual care, her work as a Chaplain at a local hospice, and her own pastoral licence with Be In Christ Church of Canada. Jonathan came on board to cover the Eastern GTA, from East Toronto through to Whitby, bringing the same standards and the same approach.
We are still small on purpose. Each of us takes a limited number of ceremonies a year so every couple and every family gets a real planning conversation, a ceremony written for them, and an officiant who is not rushing off to a second event that afternoon. Together across our territories, one set of values.
What people sometimes call retirement, we call the next chapter. This is more community service than business, and it gives all of us a real purpose. Each of us brings something different to it: Randy his music and ceremony writing, Becky her palliative care and pastoral training, Jonathan his community work and pastoral leadership.
